What language is spoken in the village?

Predominantly Afrikaans, Sesotho and English, almost everyone is bilingual with their home language and English, however, if you find yourself unable to communicate with someone, just ask the next person you see to help, that’s how we do it here :o)

Where can I purchase items I need?

Depending on your needs, there are a number of options:

• OVK – For any hardware related items
• Any of 3 corner stores for the basics, they have a fair array of canned goods, washing powder, soft drinks, etc.
• For more specialized items there is a mall in Bethlehem (Woolies, Mugg & Bean, Game, Mr. Price, etc)

I need cash!!!

• All of the businesses accept card payments.
• There are two ATM’s in the village.
